Goygol’s fauna is very rich. Formal fishes are preserved in the lake. It differs significantly from other tea factories in Azerbaijan. As a result, Goygol fodder originated from the fossil of tea. Their origins are related to the history of the Goy-lake. During the earthquake, river fossils, which remained in the lake’s territory, have gradually transformed into lake fossils, have grown and grown up to our time. Goygol is the deepest lake in Azerbaijan.

State Nature Reserve 

It is located in Goygol State Nature Reserve .

State Nature Reserve is the first preserve created in Azerbaijan in 1925. The forest landscape of Goygol and its surroundings is famous all over the world with its richness and fascination.
