Goy Gol Resort Hotel is located in the territory of Goygol National Park, one of the natural attractions of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The national park, located on the stunning northern slopes of the scenic Kepaz mountain, is named after Goygol lake, which is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in Azerbaijan. The lake was formed as a result of a strong earthquake that occurred in Ganja city in 1139 when the Kepaz mountain collapsed, and thus blocked the path of Agsu river. As a result of this collapse, the amazing Goygol lake was formed. Translated from Azerbaijani, the name means “blue lake”. The territory of Goygol National Park is surrounded by beautiful forests. There are several small lakes in the territory of the park, among them Saligol, Maralgöl, Aggol, Shamilgol, Karagöl, etc. You can get there using cars on the territory of the complex. “Goy Gol” recreation center consists of 4 buildings with 48 different categories of rooms and cottages, including 36 rooms.
