Azerbaijan  Airlines

Azerbaijan Airlines  part of the Azerbaijan Hava Yollari Closed Joint Stock Company. It is the biggest Azerbaijani airline and national flag carrier. Headquartered in Baku, it is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

The airline’s base airport, the Baku Heydar Aliyev international airport, is located 20 km north-east of Baku. Azerbaijan Hava Yollari operates passenger flights to countries of Europe, the CIS, Middle East and Asia. In 2014, after purchasing new Boeing aircraft for long-haul flights, the airline plans to open regular flights to destinations in North America and South-East Asia.

Buta Airways

Buta Airways is the first low-cost airline in Azerbaijan. As well as a structural division of the Closed Joint-Stock Company Azerbaijan Airlines. 

It founded in December 2016 and began its operations in September 2017. Currently, the low-cost airline carries out flights to the near abroad with flights from the airports of Baku and Ganja. There are nine international destinations in Russia, Turkiye, Ukraine, Georgia.

Since the beginning of its operation, Airways Campany has been in high demand both among the citizens of Azerbaijan and in other countries. Loading of aircrafts on the majority of destinations is not less than 85 percent. 

The fleet of Buta Airways includes modern comfortable Embraer E190 aircrafts. These new and reliable aircrafts  equipped with comfortable seats, wide legroom and large overhead bins for hand luggage. As the number of new destinations increases, the airline plans to expand its fleet of aircrafts.
